4th Annual Marikana Commemoration Lecture

On 14 August 2023, we hosted the 4th Annual Marikana Commemoration Lecture, where we reflected on the renewal process of honour, engage and create, and renewed our commitment to invest in and sustain our operations, our people and our communities.
Keynote speaker
This year, the keynote address was delivered by Dr Imtiaz Sooliman founder of Gift of the Givers Foundation, Africa’s largest independent humanitarian organisation. Gift of the Givers works to unite people to make a real difference by serving vulnerable and marginalised communities. This mission is aligned to the very purpose of our Renewal Programme, dedicated to socio economic upliftment and empowerment of communities surrounding Sibanye-Stillwater’s SA PGM operations.
